The NHL Draft continues Thursday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with rounds two through seven.
Chicago selected Connor Beddard first overall in the first round on Wednesday night, as Anaheim surprised some by picking Swedish quarterback Leo Carlsson second overall. Columbus selected Michigan center Adam Fantelli at third, and San Jose selected US U-18 center Will Smith at fourth.
The Nashville Predators selected UConn winger Matthew Wood 15th overall, and defenseman Tanner Molendyk was selected with the 24th overall pick. Nashville has 11 picks on Thursday.
